NEED TO SURRENDER A PET RAT?
We don't judge, but maybe we can help!

We get it. Sometimes things don't work out or we hit hard times and we can't always provide the best care for our little fur critters in the way we want and in the way that they need. Whether you just don't have the time or schedule, or if you can't afford the pet care, or even if other obligations have gotten in the way -- we don't judge your reasoning! That's why we specifically operate not only as a full blown rattery, but also as a rescue for our rodent friends!

Once we get some information from you, set up an intake date and time, and assess your pet(s) temperament and personality, they will eventually be rehomed / placed up for adoption. We believe in matching the right people to the right rat. Until a perfect home is found, your rat(s) will live comfortably here in the rattery.

Every time a rat (or rats) is / are surrendered, a form MUST be filled out. No exceptions.

PLEASE LET IT BE KNOWN THAT IF YOU FILL OUT A SURRENDER FORM AND WE MAKE CONTACT, YOU HAVE 7 BUSINESS DAYS TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS. THIS IS DUE TO LIMITED SPACE & TIME RESTRICTIONS. SURRENDERS ARE DROP OFF ONLY & YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING PLANS! UNLESS DISCUSSED, PICK UPS WILL NOT BE AN OPTION.

Please also be aware that if you choose to fill out a surrender form and you proceed to go through with the surrendering process once initial contact is made, it is YOUR job to communicate if something comes up or changes. We make changes to accommodate the needs of customers / the public, therefore, if we feel like you are not cooperating, communicating, or if you are wasting our time, your surrender arrangement WILL BE terminated and you will be blacklisted from using our Rattery. This is nothing personal, but it protects us from wasting our time and resources as a small business. We get sometimes plans change and you might not need to surrender anymore, but it is still your job to inform us. We want to be able to effortlessly serve our customers without stress.
